Kitchens and Bathrooms

Kitchens

The kitchen is the hub of every home, and a new kitchen is a big investment.
Fitting a new kitchen is an exciting prospect but there are a lot of moving parts that need to be simultaneously coordinated for a seamless and stress free installation.
With the expense involved, it needs to be fitted perfectly first time. We have been fitting kitchens for decades and offer a full installation service from building works, electrics, gas, plumbing, tiling and of course high quality joinery work for your fitted units, wood flooring, skirting boards and architraves.

What happens during a typical kitchen installation

Removal

Your old kitchen and appliances will be taken out and responsibly disposed of.

Flooring

If you’re getting a new floor this is likely to be installed before the new kitchen goes in.

Repairs

Your walls may need to be made good after the old kitchen has been removed particularly if you have taken down tiles.

This may require a plasterer to be brought in and time for the plaster to dry out.

Plumbing and electrical work

Any preparation of utilities needed for the kitchen will be carried out.

Adding electrical sockets and spotlights, re positioning of radiators, rerouting of central heating pipework etc.

Installing units

Generally, we will start with the base units for the kitchen cupboards before moving on to the wall units.

Finishing units

One of the final jobs is to fit cupboard doors, drawer fronts, plinths and cornices

Decoration

Painting and decoration!

Tiling

Once the worktop is fitted your tiles can be fitted.

Appliances

Ovens, dishwashers, washing machines, fridges and the multitude of any other appliances will be installed. Specialist’s will be required if gas appliances need to be installed

Worktops

These can be fitted once the units are in place and cut to fit around hobs or sinks. Your sink will probably be installed at this stage.

Bathrooms

The bathroom is one of the most important rooms of any home. This is an area where you spend a great deal of time at the beginning and end of everyday. An ideal bathroom exudes a clean, tranquil and comfortable ambience.

It is also a part of the house that will be seen by friends, family members
and other visitors so it should be built to impress. Similar to a kitchen, it can also involve considerable expense to replace/upgrade so needs to be done perfectly first time.
